Quality Assurance & Compliance Officer

About the role

The Quality Assurance & Compliance Officer will ensure that all products meet customer expectations, food safety standards, and statutory requirements while fostering a culture of quality across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Implement quality assurance programs across all operations.
• Monitor compliance with food safety standards and conduct product testing.
• Ensure adherence to HACCP, GMP, and ISO standards.
• Conduct internal quality audits and investigate customer complaints.
• Develop corrective and preventive action plans.
• Train employees on food safety and quality procedures.
• Maintain quality records, coordinate external audits, and monitor supplier performance.
• Prepare quality performance reports and support regulatory inspections.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field.
• Three years of QA experience in food manufacturing.
• Quality Assurance qualification and HACCP certification (advantage).
• Knowledge of ISO standards, GMP, and food safety regulations.
• Experience with internal auditing and report writing.
• Strong analytical and computer literacy skills.
