Registered Building Architect (Full‑time, Nairobi)

About the role

We are looking for a professionally registered Building Architect to lead the architectural design and regulatory approval process for our construction and infrastructure projects in Westlands, Nairobi. The role involves full‑cycle involvement from concept through handover, ensuring compliance with all legal and design standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and planning for new builds, refurbishments and renovations, producing conceptual designs, detailed drawings, 3D models and material specifications.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, quantity surveyors, MEP consultants and project managers to deliver integrated solutions.
• Use your registration license to secure planning permissions and other statutory approvals from local authorities.
• Participate in project scheduling, budgeting and risk analysis; attend site meetings, conduct inspections and issue site instructions.
• Communicate design intent and compliance strategies to clients, contractors, consultants and government officials.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from a recognised institution.
• Registered Architect with the relevant registration authority.
• Proven experience in leading architectural design and obtaining regulatory approvals.
