Remote Tax Accountant (Chartered Accountant/Enrolled Agent)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant or Enrolled Agent to join our client’s team on a contract basis. This fully remote position involves managing tax compliance, preparing financial statements, and delivering advisory services for clients across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file accurate tax returns in accordance with federal, state, and international regulations.
• Provide tax planning and advisory services to optimize clients' financial positions.
• Stay current with changing tax laws and regulations.
• Represent clients during audits and communicate with tax authorities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in tax compliance, accounting, or financial advisory.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with tax software such as ProSeries or Drake.
