Route Sales Representative

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a full-time Route Sales Representative in Murang'a for its FMCG business. The role covers visiting customers and outlets, selling and distributing products, and achieving sales targets across the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Visit assigned customers and outlets and sell and distribute products within the territory
• Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets
• Build and maintain customer relationships, identify new customers and handle their needs, queries and complaints
• Take orders, monitor product availability, maintain displays and check stock levels
• Identify new sales opportunities, monitor competitors and gather market feedback
• Maintain sales records, prepare daily route and sales reports and follow up on payments and outstanding balances
• Plan and manage daily routes so that outlets and customers are covered regularly

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Agribusiness or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in route sales, FMCG, fresh produce, agribusiness, distribution or retail sales
• Experience selling directly to kiosks, mama mbogas, retailers or small businesses is an added advantage
• A valid driving licence or motorcycle licence is an added advantage
