Sales Associate – Customer Engagement & Brand Ambassador

About the role

The Sales Associate will be the face of Mamlo Foods at various customer touchpoints, driving product awareness and boosting sales. You will engage customers across retail outlets, pop‑up stores, farmers’ markets, exhibitions and digital platforms, ensuring a memorable brand experience.

Key responsibilities

• Directly sell Mamlo Foods products and promote the brand at physical and digital channels.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, community groups and women’s networks.
• Merchandise products, manage stock‑taking and ensure accurate point‑of‑sale records.
• Gather market insights and feedback to help refine products and campaigns.
• Travel locally and work flexible hours, including weekends for events and markets.

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in Sales, Marketing or Business Management.
• 1–2 years of experience in sales, promotions or customer‑facing roles, preferably in food, FMCG or social‑enterprise sectors.
• Strong communication, negotiation and storytelling abilities.
• Passion for social impact, women’s empowerment and sustainable agriculture.
• High integrity, accountability and a positive work ethic.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets.
• Basic understanding of CRM processes.
