Sales Executive - Vehicle Sales, Nairobi

About the role

A vehicle sales business serving customers in Kenya and overseas is looking for two Sales Executives based in Nairobi, reporting to the Country Manager. The work is on-site with field visits, and the position is permanent with a 3-month probation. The salary is KES 25,000 per month.

Key responsibilities

• Find new customers through calls, referrals, networks and field visits
• Manage the full sales cycle: enquiry, presentation, negotiation, closing and after-sales follow-up
• Keep accurate lead and pipeline records and follow up consistently
• Visit customers and hold regular meetings
• Achieve monthly sales targets and build relationships that bring repeat and referral business
• Share market and competitor feedback with management
• Follow company pricing, documentation and ethics requirements

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or a related field
• At least 2 years' experience in sales, such as telemarketing, merchandising, showroom or direct sales; no motor industry experience required
• Willingness to do regular field visits (a valid driving licence is an advantage)
• Self-driven, persuasive and confident, comfortable working towards individual targets
• Honest, dependable and ambitious, with a view to a long-term career (3 to 4 years and beyond); applicants must declare any current business interests in the vehicle trade
