Sales & Marketing Manager

About the role

Total Security Surveillance Ltd, a fast-growing provider of integrated private security solutions in Kenya, is looking for a Sales and Marketing Manager to strengthen its market presence and drive revenue growth. The role covers sales performance, leading the Sales Team, brand positioning, customer acquisition and retention, and aligning with the company's strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, monitor and refine strategic sales and marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
• Drive company growth through promotion and positioning of products and services.
• Generate sales in line with targets, forecasts and budgets, personally and through the team.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve products and services based on market feedback.
• Lead pricing strategies that optimise profitability, competitiveness and brand growth.
• Run market surveys and competitive analysis, advising management on trends, risks and opportunities.
• Manage the Sales & Marketing Department, monitoring revenue, conversion rates and pipeline.
• Coach, mentor and evaluate staff, setting clear targets and KPIs.
• Set customer service standards, run satisfaction surveys and act on feedback.
• Control the marketing budget and manage the company website and e-marketing platforms.
• Design and deploy sales and marketing tools.

Required profile

• Commercial degree from a recognised university.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a sales and marketing role within the private security industry.
• Membership of the Marketing Society of Kenya and/or the Institute of Public Relations Practitioners.
• Proven people management and leadership capability.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM and digital marketing tools.
• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic, commercially astute and self-motivated.
