Sales Officer – Alternative Channels (Life Insurance)

About the role

Liberty Kenya is looking for motivated, customer‑focused Sales Officers to join its Alternative Channels team. You will be seconded to strategic business partners to grow the retail life insurance portfolio while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve assigned sales targets for life insurance products.
• Prospect, engage and convert customers within designated partner locations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partner staff.
• Provide professional financial and insurance advisory services.
• Ensure compliance with Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate sales records and submit timely reports.
• Participate in sales activations, campaigns and customer‑engagement initiatives.
• Represent Liberty Kenya professionally and uphold company values.

Required profile

• Diploma in Business, Marketing, Insurance, Finance or a related field (bachelor’s degree is a plus).
• Minimum of one (1) year of sales experience with a proven track record.
• Certificate of Proficiency (COP/ECOP) or other relevant insurance qualifications.
• Valid IRA licence.
