Sales Representative – Alcoholic Beverages

About the role

The company seeks a dynamic Sales Representative to drive growth of its alcoholic beverage portfolio across Nyandarua and Laikipia territories. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding market share, and building strong relationships with distributors and on‑trade/off‑trade customers.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales volume, revenue and distribution targets.
• Execute territory sales plans to increase brand penetration and identify new business opportunities.
• Manage distributor performance, support route optimisation and ensure adequate inventory levels.
• Develop and maintain relationships with wholesalers, supermarkets, bars, hotels, restaurants and clubs.
• Negotiate trade terms, promotional agreements and product listings within commercial guidelines.
• Implement route‑to‑market strategies to expand numeric and weighted distribution.
• Ensure in‑store brand visibility through merchandising and point‑of‑sale materials.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years (36 months) of sales experience in FMCG or alcoholic beverages.
• Mid‑level professional with proven track record of meeting sales targets.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
