Senior HR Manager

About the role

Precision Development (PxD) seeks a Senior HR Manager (also known as Senior HR Business Partner) to lead employee relations, people development and safeguarding for a globally dispersed workforce of about 100 employees. This hands‑on position will manage an ER caseload, coach managers, and partner with the COO on people strategy and organisational change.

Key responsibilities

• Manage employee‑relations cases end‑to‑end, provide guidance to line managers and ensure documentation is accurate.
• Identify recurring ER trends and advise the COO on proactive organisational improvements.
• Serve as a primary coaching resource for managers, delivering feedback, performance and development support.
• Design and commission manager development programmes tailored to a multicultural, remote workforce.
• Identify talent gaps and shape career pathways in collaboration with the COO.
• Own PxD’s safeguarding agenda, keep policies current and act as Designated Safeguarding Lead.
• Develop and deliver safeguarding training for all staff and manage disclosures through proper triage and referral.

Required profile

• Extensive HR experience with a strong focus on employee relations and safeguarding.
• Proven ability to work independently across dispersed teams and multicultural contexts.
• Excellent judgment, discretion and the capacity to handle sensitive cases.
• Demonstrated coaching and mentoring skills for managers at all levels.
• Strategic mindset to partner with senior leadership on people strategy.
