Service Point Advisor – Maternity Cover

About the role

The Service Point Advisor will represent DHL Express at a designated service point, offering the full range of DHL products and services to walk‑in customers. This maternity‑cover position focuses on delivering high‑quality customer service, driving sales of value‑added services, and acting as a brand ambassador.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate information on pricing, customs requirements, and DHL product offerings to walk‑in and telesales customers.
• Promote and sell DHL value‑added services (e‑commerce, TDI, TDX, SII, IB) to achieve daily shipment and revenue targets.
• Maintain cash handling procedures, ensure same‑day cash remittance and reconciliation.
• Capture complete shipment data and ensure correct coding in DHL systems.
• Liaise with internal departments (Operations, Finance, Commercial) to resolve service and billing issues.
• Conduct scheduled customer calls and visits to increase sales and build loyalty.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and suggest service‑improvement ideas.

Required profile

• Experience in customer‑facing sales or service environments.
• Ability to meet defined KPI targets such as shipments per day and revenue growth.
• Strong communication skills and a professional appearance.
• Attention to detail for cash handling and shipment data entry.
• Proactive attitude toward identifying sales opportunities and resolving issues.
