Social Media Manager – Healthcare & Skincare Focus

About the role

Portal Pharmacy is seeking a creative and commercially‑minded Social Media Manager to lead its online presence and drive e‑commerce sales. The ideal candidate combines social media marketing expertise with a background in healthcare or skincare.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a social media strategy across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other platforms.
• Create monthly content calendars aligned with marketing campaigns and business goals.
• Plan, film and edit short‑form videos, reels and educational content.
• Write compelling captions and high‑converting promotional copy.
• Respond promptly to customer enquiries and direct messages, recommending suitable products and closing sales.
• Follow up with potential customers to maximise conversions.
• Collaborate with pharmacy and beauty teams to produce accurate, educational content.
• Monitor performance metrics and prepare actionable reports.
• Partner with influencers, suppliers and brand partners on campaigns.
• Stay up‑to‑date with digital marketing and social media trends.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience managing social media for a business or brand.
• Healthcare or strong skincare background preferred.
• Proven ability to convert enquiries into sales.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook and TikTok best practices.
• Experience creating engaging photo and video content.
• Comfortable appearing on camera and directing content creation.
• Highly organised with strong planning and time‑management abilities.
