Solution Consultant - ICT, IoT and Cloud

About the role

This role delivers end-to-end support for ICT, IoT and cloud service delivery, covering both remote and on-site engagements. It covers project planning, vendor management, solution design, customer support and SLA compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement full-lifecycle project plans for ICT, IoT and cloud initiatives, managing scope, timeline, budget, quality, resources, vendor governance, communications and risks.
• Partner with sales and pre-sales teams to design customer-centric solutions, write commercial proposals and prepare RFP responses.
• Own regional vendor relationship management for ICT, IoT and cloud suppliers, including performance reviews and new vendor assessments.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams such as support, product, legal and finance to meet customer commitments.
• Provide ongoing customer support, technical troubleshooting and service lifecycle management.
• Ensure compliance with customer SLAs and contractual terms.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Telecommunications, Electronic Information, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Prior experience with government, large enterprise or African submarine/terrestrial cable projects is highly preferred.
• Fluent English (written and verbal); Chinese is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving and cross-border coordination skills.

Required skills

• Solid familiarity with mainstream ICT solutions: servers, storage, cybersecurity, wireless networking, data communications, cloud platforms and data centre infrastructure.
• Cisco, Huawei or H3C professional certifications are preferred.
