About the role
The Speech Therapist will join the multidisciplinary team at Bungoma Children’s Hospital to diagnose and treat speech, language, communication and swallowing disorders in paediatric patients. This full‑time position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on children’s health and development.
Key responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose and manage speech, language, communication and swallowing disorders, particularly in children.
- Collaborate closely with doctors, nurses, occupational therapists and other professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy or Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited institution and registration with the Association of Speech and Language Therapists of Kenya (or equivalent).
- Minimum of one year relevant clinical experience working with children in a hospital, rehabilitation centre or educational setting.
