Staffing Officer – Kakamega (Security)

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Staffing Officer to manage HR administration and guard force supervision for our Kakamega branch. You will act as the bridge between the office and field, ensuring security personnel are deployed, disciplined, paid correctly, and supervised on site.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain employee files, contracts, and guard deployment records.
• Process attendance, leave, and payroll input for all guards.
• Handle recruitment, onboarding, and induction of new security staff.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies.
• Conduct regular site visits to inspect guard performance, uniform, equipment, and logbooks.
• Address disciplinary issues, absenteeism, and client complaints promptly.
• Report operational issues to the Branch Manager and assist with emergency guard replacements.
• Ride a company motorcycle to move between posts, with fuel and maintenance provided.

Required profile

• Certificate in HR Management, Business Administration, Security Operations or related field.
• 1–2 years of HR or administration experience, preferably in security.
• Valid Kenyan motorcycle licence and proven riding ability on Kakamega roads.
• Resident of Kakamega or willing to relocate immediately.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel for record‑keeping.
