System Sales Executive

About the role

We are seeking a System Sales Executive to drive new business for NY Fire, focusing on complex, multi‑stakeholder projects in the fire protection sector. The role combines technical acumen with consultative selling to position NY Fire as a strategic partner for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from discovery through contract execution for system‑level solutions.
• Develop and submit accurate, detailed proposals, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and code requirements.
• Collaborate closely with estimating, engineering, and operations teams to deliver seamless bids.
• Identify and pursue new opportunities, maintaining persistent follow‑up until decisions are reached.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry codes, manufacturers, and design practices.

Required profile

• 7–12+ years of quota‑carrying, outside (hunter) sales experience.
• Proven track record closing complex, multi‑stakeholder deals with long sales cycles.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to build and sustain relationships.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous, growth‑focused environments.
• Excellent communication, organization, and attention‑to‑detail.

Required skills

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Understanding of system requirements, code implications, and integration details.
