Team Leader – Alternative Channels (Insurance Sales)

About the role

Liberty Life is looking for motivated, customer‑focused Team Leaders to head its Alternative Channels team. You will lead Sales Officers who are seconded to strategic business partners, driving sales performance while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, coach, mentor and supervise Sales Officers to meet individual and team sales targets.
• Monitor KPIs, implement performance‑improvement initiatives and conduct regular field visits.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with partner organisations to support business growth.
• Provide day‑to‑day guidance, conduct performance reviews and ensure adherence to IRA regulations and company policies.
• Prepare and submit timely sales and performance reports.
• Represent Liberty Life professionally and uphold company values.

Required profile

• Diploma in Business, Marketing, Insurance, Finance or related field (bachelor’s degree advantageous).
• Minimum three years of leadership experience in retail life‑insurance sales.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding team sales targets.
• Valid Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) licence.
