Tile Sales Representative

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Tile Sales Representative to promote and sell our tile range to retail and wholesale customers across Kenya. You will act as the primary point of contact for contractors, architects, interior designers and hardware stores, helping them select the right products for their projects.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, networking and referrals.
• Promote and sell tile products to retail and wholesale customers.
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, architects, interior designers, developers and construction firms.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable tile solutions.
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations.
• Prepare accurate quotations and follow up to convert inquiries into sales.
• Negotiate prices, close sales and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
• Visit customers and sites regularly to strengthen relationships and uncover new business.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics to ensure timely order processing and delivery.
• Resolve customer complaints and provide after‑sales service.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales reports.
• Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions and marketing campaigns.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ sales experience, preferably in tiles, building materials, hardware, sanitary ware or interior finishing products.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to understand project requirements and recommend appropriate products.
