Training Manager

About the role

Q-Sourcing Limited, trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec, is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African region. On behalf of its client, a leading security industry company, it is hiring a Training Manager in Nairobi. The role designs, delivers and evaluates training programmes that build staff capability and ensure consistent service standards, and suits a strong trainer and facilitator willing to travel to various sites.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct training needs assessments across departments and sites to identify skill gaps.
• Design, develop and update training curricula, materials and manuals.
• Deliver training sessions, workshops and refresher courses to staff at all levels.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback and performance tracking, and report outcomes to management.
• Maintain training records, attendance logs and certification tracking.
• Coordinate training schedules and logistics, including venue, materials and participant communication.
• Conduct field-based training at various sites as required.
• Support onboarding and induction programmes for new staff.
• Ensure training content reflects company policies, SOPs and compliance requirements.
• Monitor and report on training metrics and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Human Resource Management, Education, Training & Development, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a training or learning and development role, including designing and delivering programmes.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel frequently to various sites.

• Ability to engage and motivate diverse groups of learners.
• Proficiency in MS Office and training/presentation tools.
