Tutorial Fellow - Monitoring & Evaluation

About the role

Mama Ngina University College is recruiting a Tutorial Fellow in Monitoring & Evaluation for a full-time, on-site position in Gatundu, Kenya. The post is the entry grade for Master's degree holders into the academic cadre and works under the direct supervision of a senior officer. Employment for Lecturer positions is on permanent and pensionable terms.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tutorials and prepare learning materials
• Guide students through coursework and mark assignments
• Support research activities
• Assist lecturers with curriculum delivery and academic administration

Required profile

• A Master's degree in Population Health, Public Health, Public Reproductive Health, Epidemiology & Disease Control, Monitoring & Evaluation, Community Health, Occupational Health & Safety or its equivalent from an accredited university
• Or a Bachelor's degree in Population Health from an accredited university
• Registered for a Ph.D. in the area of specialty
• University teaching experience is an added advantage; lack of evidence of it leads to disqualification

Required skills

• Proficiency in computer applications

The position is paid according to the Inter Public University Councils Consultative Forum (IPUCCF) and 2021-2025 CBA approved salary rates.
