FAST Credit Supervisor – Kegonga, Migori

About the role

The FAST Credit Supervisor will lead the implementation of the FAST (Finance Accelerating Savings for Transformation) product in Kegonga, Migori, supporting community savings groups and ensuring a robust loan portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the FAST project and mentor Field Officers to achieve organizational objectives.
• Conduct group verification tests and meet targets for customer service, retention, impact tracking, and loan portfolio quality.
• Collaborate with World Vision Kenya and partner organisations to drive business and impact.
• Train groups and community members on the FAST product.
• Build capacity of Field Officers, ensuring program fidelity and skill development.
• Maintain Field Officer productivity through support, mentorship, and timely response to customer queries.
• Coordinate with S4T agents, community stakeholders, AP managers, relationship manager, product manager and local authorities.
• Enforce FAST project policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Evaluate staff performance, provide regular assessments and submit reports to managers.
• Promote the product within the target location and implement customer‑centric approaches.

Required profile

• University degree or diploma in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Management, Banking, Marketing or a related field.
• Proven experience in micro‑finance, credit supervision or community‑based financial services.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and mentorship skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and local authorities.
