Field Sales Agent – Fresh Fish Products

About the role

Samaki Kuu, a fast‑growing fish trading business, is looking for energetic Field Sales Agents to expand its customer base across Kenya. You will promote fresh whole fish, tilapia fillets and nile perch fillets to retailers, hotels, restaurants and distributors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customers, including markets, eateries and distributors.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients.
• Present and promote the full range of fish products.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts and delivery schedules.
• Collect market intelligence and report competitor activity.
• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Ensure timely order processing and delivery follow‑up.

Required profile

• Diploma in Sales, Business or a related field.
• 1–3 years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG or the food & fish industry.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Self‑motivated with a drive to hit targets.
• Ability to work independently and manage a territory.
• Familiarity with local markets and supply chains.
