About the role
UNEP, the United Nations Environment Programme, is the leading global environmental authority that sets the global environmental agenda, promotes the integration of the environmental dimension of sustainable development, and serves as an authoritative advocate for the global environment. The organisation is seeking a Finance and Budget Officer (P4) to join its Law Division, OzonAction Branch in Nairobi. Reporting directly to the Head of the OzonAction Branch, the incumbent will support the financial management and budgeting functions that underpin UNEP’s environmental initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Perform finance and budgeting duties as directed by the Head of the OzonAction Branch.
- Contribute to the efficient allocation of resources within the OzonAction Branch, supporting compliance with UNEP’s financial policies and procedures.
