Furniture Sales Executive

About the role

The Furniture Sales Executive will drive revenue for a leading interior design and furniture manufacturing company in Nairobi. You will engage walk‑in customers, generate new leads and guide clients through the complete sales journey, from initial inquiry to post‑sale support.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, cold calling and walk‑in customer engagement.
• Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing within approved guidelines and close sales.
• Cross‑sell and upsell complementary furniture products and accessories.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Conduct product presentations and showroom tours, highlighting features, quality and design benefits.
• Manage the end‑to‑end sales process, including order confirmation, payment follow‑up, delivery coordination and after‑sales support.
• Liaise with operations, procurement, logistics and installation teams to ensure accurate order processing and timely deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities and pipelines in the company’s CRM system.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidates with up to two years of sales experience.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑service mindset.
• Ability to understand client needs, budgets and space requirements.
• Willingness to stay updated on interior design trends and competitor offerings.

Required skills

• Experience using a CRM or sales management system to track leads and opportunities.
