Head of Group Financial Planning & Analysis

About the role

Moniepoint is seeking a Head of Group FP&A to design, own, and consolidate the financial planning and analysis framework across its subsidiaries in Nigeria, Kenya, and other markets. This senior position sets the Group standard, consolidates forecasts, and ensures reliable financial reporting for leadership and the Board.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain the Group FP&A framework, including forecasting architecture, budgeting process, and management‑reporting standards.
• Consolidate entity‑level forecasts and budgets into a single Group P&L, balance sheet, and cash‑flow statement with currency toggles and inter‑company eliminations.
• Own the annual Group budget calendar, templates, timelines, challenge sessions and Board approval process.
• Produce and reconcile the consolidated Group forecast (2026‑28 and beyond) with monthly actuals, providing variance analysis.
• Partner with the Group Financial Controller to ensure clean month‑end reconciliations and timely reporting.
• Run monthly and quarterly Group reporting cycles, delivering consolidated management accounts, Board packs, and investor‑grade reports.
• Build and enforce a Group KPI and unit‑economics framework applied consistently across all entities.
• Lead scenario and sensitivity modelling for strategic decisions such as market entry, capital raises, and licence applications.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and consolidation at a Group level.
• Proven ability to set standards, influence cross‑functional finance teams and work with senior CFOs.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
