Investor Relations Specialist – Renewable Finance

About the role

The Investor Relations Specialist will join One Acre Fund’s IR team in Nairobi, supporting loan compliance, lender due‑diligence and financial analysis for the organization’s renewable‑focused debt financing. You will work closely with senior finance staff and global lenders to prepare reports, manage documentation and contribute to strategic projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial and operational reports for lenders and internal senior leadership.
• Maintain lender records, loan documentation and support the signing and closing of new loans.
• Coordinate due‑diligence requests, gather information across teams and create summaries, spreadsheets and presentations for current and prospective lenders.
• Support financial modeling, dashboards, research and special projects that inform finance and IR decisions.

Required profile

• Good understanding of finance and accounting; exposure to financial‑statement analysis preferred.
• Top‑performing undergraduate background.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including with remote colleagues.
• Leadership qualities combined with humor, patience and a humble service approach.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Google Sheets a plus).
• Financial modeling in Excel using complex formulas (e.g., INDEX, MATCH, LOOKUPS).
