Product Specialist – Global Christian NGO

About the role

The Product Specialist will support a global Christian grant‑making foundation by providing product expertise, client training, and inside‑sales activities. Reporting to the Giver Services Manager, the role works closely with Giver Services, Philanthropy and Operations teams to ensure smooth fund application processes and strong donor‑charity relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Support foundation fund and charity clients through training, product guidance and ongoing follow‑up.
• Engage prospective donors and charities, explaining services via inside‑sales activities.
• Act as subject‑matter expert on product offerings and the broader global giving network.
• Initiate charity fund applications and coordinate workflow handoffs across teams.
• Build trusted relationships with donors and charities across different countries and cultures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
• Experience with CRM systems and sales pipeline management.
• Excellent written and verbal English, strong phone and Zoom etiquette.
• Strong customer‑service orientation, organization, attention to detail and prioritisation.
• High emotional intelligence, cultural competency and ability to work virtually with dispersed teams.
• Ability to manage confidential information and adapt to rapid change.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quick learning of new technologies.
• Growth mindset, flexibility and willingness to support wider team functions.
• Spiritual maturity and alignment with the organisation’s Christian mission.
