Sales Executive / Manager – Portable Solar Irrigation Pumps

About the role

The company is seeking a dynamic Sales Executive/Manager to lead the market development of its new portable solar irrigation pumps in Kenya. You will work closely with senior management to shape sales strategies and drive growth for both the irrigation pumps and the existing prepaid water‑metering solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a market entry and growth strategy for portable solar irrigation pumps targeting smallholder farmers and partner organisations such as agri off‑takers, SACCOs and NGOs.
• Promote and sell the company’s prepaid water‑metering solutions alongside the pumps.
• Provide after‑sales support and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and submit regular sales and performance reports to management.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and distribution channels.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of proven sales success, preferably in agricultural or renewable‑energy products.
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
• Strong analytical and business‑development capabilities.
• Team player who can also work independently.
• Ability to network and maintain stakeholder linkages.
• Preferably under 35 years old, though all applicants are welcome.
• Valid driving licence is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Good command of Microsoft Office applications.

What we offer

• Competitive monthly salary ranging from KES 50,000 to KES 75,000, based on experience and qualifications.
• Performance bonus up to KES 30,000 per month.
