Sales Executive – Renewable Energy & Energy Storage

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Executive to drive B2B sales of solar PV, energy storage systems and hybrid power solutions across Kenya and East Africa. You will identify new opportunities, build relationships with key stakeholders and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new B2B opportunities in commercial, industrial, telecom, agriculture, hospitality, healthcare, education, NGO and government sectors.
• Prospect, qualify and engage customers, installers, distributors, EPCs, consultants and developers.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and commercial presentations and follow up on payments.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and upcoming tenders.
• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions and trade shows.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of sales experience in renewable energy, solar PV, energy storage, electrical products, generators or UPS.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong prospecting, communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑motivated, disciplined and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Kenya and East Africa; a valid driving licence is an advantage.
