Sales Executive – Retail & Online Sales

About the role

We are recruiting for a fast‑growing retail and e‑commerce company that needs an energetic Sales Executive to drive both in‑store and online sales. The role involves welcoming walk‑in customers, handling enquiries via WhatsApp, phone and social media, and converting them into completed orders while ensuring excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist walk‑in customers, demonstrate products and close sales.
• Respond promptly to enquiries received via WhatsApp, phone calls, social media and other online platforms.
• Follow up every sales lead until it is successfully converted or closed.
• Process customer orders accurately and ensure timely order fulfilment.
• Handle customer complaints, after‑sales enquiries and warranty requests professionally.
• Maintain accurate customer records using the company’s POS and CRM systems.
• Achieve individual sales targets while contributing to overall team performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in retail, showroom or customer‑facing sales roles.
• Strong spoken and written English and Kiswahili.
• Experience selling through WhatsApp Business, telephone and online interactions.
• Presentable, trustworthy, self‑motivated and customer‑oriented.
• Willingness to work Monday to Saturday (8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.).
