Senior Business Analyst: Business Banking Risk

About the role

The Senior Business Analyst will report to the Head of Business Banking Change Risk and drive the transformation, digitisation and automation of the Business Banking Credit Value Chain. You will translate strategic objectives into technology‑enabled solutions that improve efficiency, strengthen risk management and enhance the customer experience across the end‑to‑end credit process.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and document opportunities for process optimisation within credit origination, assessment, sanctioning, fulfilment and monitoring.
• Gather, analyse and validate business requirements in collaboration with credit teams, technology partners and vendors.
• Support design, testing, implementation and post‑implementation activities for core credit platforms, workflow automation and risk assessment tools.
• Lead stakeholder workshops, manage cross‑functional delivery and influence technology decisions.
• Coordinate training, knowledge transfer and operational readiness for new solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Finance or related field (essential).
• 7‑10+ years of business analysis experience, specifically in Business Banking.
• Proven experience in large‑scale automation or digital transformation projects within a banking environment.
• Deep understanding of the end‑to‑end credit lifecycle and credit risk operations.
• Strong stakeholder‑engagement and workshop‑facilitation abilities.
