Senior Regional Financial Investigator

About the role

The Senior Regional Financial Investigator will lead complex investigations into fraud, corruption, and financial misconduct across multiple countries. Working independently and under the supervision of the Global Financial Investigations Senior Manager, the role supports World Vision’s mission to protect vulnerable children by ensuring financial integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate, plan, and conduct investigations of fraud, bribery, embezzlement, waste, and other financial irregularities.
• Prepare investigative plans, engagement memos, detailed reports, Excel analyses, and PowerPoint presentations for senior leadership.
• Analyze financial records, ethics reports, and other documentation using data‑analytics and computer‑forensic tools.
• Interview witnesses and subjects, conduct surveillance, and coordinate with law‑enforcement, donors, NGOs, banks, and other stakeholders.
• Provide training and guidance to junior investigators and develop investigation manuals and preventive measures.
• Identify fraud trends, recommend mitigation actions, and align investigative work with WV 2030 goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (field not specified).
• Proven experience conducting financial investigations and handling complex fraud cases.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
