Accounts Receivable Manager (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Remote Accounts Receivable Manager to lead the revenue and receivables function for a global software development leader. The role ensures timely collections, accurate revenue recognition, and smooth collaboration across finance, sales, and client success teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enforce accounts receivable policies and procedures to streamline invoicing and collections.
• Monitor aging reports, proactively address overdue accounts, and minimize revenue loss.
• Coordinate with sales, client success, and finance teams to resolve billing discrepancies and improve cash flow.
• Maintain compliance with GAAP revenue recognition standards and ensure accurate financial records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in revenue accounting or accounts receivable management.
• Strong proficiency with ERP systems, especially NetSuite or comparable platforms.
• Solid understanding of GAAP revenue recognition and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to convey complex financial information to non‑financial audiences.
