Accounts Receivable Manager (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Accounts Receivable Manager to lead the revenue and collections function for a global software development leader. This remote, full‑time position will ensure timely cash flow, accurate revenue recognition, and seamless collaboration across finance, sales, and client success teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enforce accounts receivable policies and procedures to streamline invoicing and collections.
• Monitor aging reports, proactively address overdue accounts, and minimize revenue loss.
• Coordinate with sales, client success, and finance to resolve billing discrepancies and improve cash flow.
• Maintain compliance with GAAP revenue recognition standards and ensure accurate financial records.
• Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in revenue accounting or accounts receivable management.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex financial information to non‑financial audiences.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, especially NetSuite or comparable platforms.
• In‑depth knowledge of GAAP revenue recognition standards.
• Experience in financial reporting and accounts receivable processes.
