Business Development & Sales Manager (Supply Chain Financing)

About the role

ActivEdge Technologies is looking for a senior Business Development & Sales Manager to lead the commercial growth of its PayEdge platform across key African markets. This field‑intensive, revenue‑owning position sits at the intersection of enterprise sales, financial institution engagement, and supply‑chain finance.

Key responsibilities

• Drive end‑to‑end enterprise sales of the PayEdge supply‑chain financing platform to banks, financial institutions, corporate buyers and large enterprises.
• Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, cold outreach, qualification, product demos, proposals, price negotiation, contract signing and hand‑over to onboarding.
• Develop and execute strategic territory plans to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.
• Build trusted relationships with new customers and act as a thought leader in financial supply‑chain financing.
• Collaborate with the Head of Business Development and CCO to refine go‑to‑market strategies.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with at least 5 years (60 months) of enterprise sales experience, preferably in FinTech or supply‑chain finance.
• Proven track record of closing high‑value deals with financial institutions and large corporates.
• Strong field presence and willingness to travel across African markets.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
