Finance Manager – Payables

About the role

AAA Growers Limited is looking for a proactive Finance Manager – Payables to lead its accounts payable function, payroll, tax compliance and related financial processes. The role is based on‑site in Nairobi and reports to senior finance leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable operations, supplier invoice processing, payment scheduling and compliance with tax regulations.
• Manage VAT preparation, filing and reconciliation in line with KRA requirements, and ensure accurate tax treatment of inter‑company transactions.
• Supervise payroll processing, statutory deductions (PAYE, NSSF, SHIF, pension) and submission of P9 forms.
• Coordinate inter‑company billing, validation and reconciliations, maintaining proper documentation for audit purposes.
• Maintain and update SOPs, strengthen internal controls and ensure consistent implementation of financial policies.
• Oversee bank account management, online transactions, bank reconciliations and cash‑flow monitoring.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA(K), ACCA or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of Kenyan tax legislation, VAT, payroll administration and statutory compliance.
• Proven experience in bank reconciliations, inter‑company transactions and cash‑flow management.

Required skills

• Proficiency with QuickBooks accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
