Head of Business Development & Partnerships

About the role

The Head of Business Development & Partnerships will lead the commercial department of Firetrack Training Centre, driving revenue growth, new business opportunities and strategic alliances across firefighting, rescue, emergency response and industrial safety sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement commercialization and sustainability strategies for the centre.
• Identify and create new revenue streams and business opportunities.
• Prepare business plans, budgets, revenue forecasts and implementation frameworks.
• Build and manage partnerships with county governments, private companies, NGOs, industry players and educational institutions.
• Expand commercial training, consultancy, TVET, firefighting, rescue and industrial safety services.
• Develop collaborations with equipment manufacturers and international training providers.
• Coordinate commercial projects, pilot initiatives, stakeholder engagement and partnership development.
• Support marketing, communication and promotional activities.
• Supervise commercial operations, implementation and reporting.

Required profile

• Significant professional experience in fire and rescue training, emergency response/EMT services or industrial safety solutions.
• Proven track record in business development, partnership building and revenue generation.
• Strong understanding of vocational training, TVET systems and sector‑specific regulatory environments.
• Experience working with government agencies, NGOs and private sector partners.
