HR/Administrative Assistant – Consultancy for Anticipatory Action Training

About the role

We are seeking a consultant to design and deliver a training programme on Anticipatory Action (AA) for SAPCONE staff and selected partners in Kakuma, Turkana. The consultant will equip the team with the knowledge and tools needed to cascade AA concepts to local communities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and conduct a comprehensive training curriculum on Anticipatory Action for SAPCONE staff and partners.
• Facilitate interactive training sessions, ensuring participants understand AA principles and practical application.
• Support post‑training activities, including initial community rollout, documentation of processes, and sharing of lessons learned.
• Organise and lead exit meetings with communities to assess training impact and gather feedback.

Required profile

• Proven experience in designing and delivering training programmes in humanitarian or development settings.
• Familiarity with Anticipatory Action concepts and practices.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, partners, and community members in a field environment.
