Lecturer - Hospitality & Tourism Management

About the role

Mama Ngina University College is recruiting a Lecturer in Hospitality and Tourism Management for a full-time, on-site position in Gatundu, Kenya. The post is open to applicants holding a Master's degree or a Bachelor's degree in the field.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tutorials and guide students through coursework
• Prepare learning materials and mark assignments
• Support research activities
• Assist lecturers with curriculum delivery and academic administration

Required profile

• An earned PhD or equivalent doctorate in Hospitality from an accredited university, or a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Hospitality/Tourism from an accredited university
• At least three years of university-level teaching experience, or research or industry experience
• A minimum of 24 publication points, at least 16 from refereed journal papers
• Membership in a relevant professional body in good standing
• Evidence of attendance and contribution to learned conferences, seminars or workshops

Required skills

• Proficiency in computer applications
