Manager, Balance Sheet Management

About the role

The Manager, Balance Sheet Management will lead funding, liquidity and ALM activities for the bank, ensuring resilience and regulatory compliance. This senior position reports to the Head of Balance Sheet Management and works closely with Treasury, Risk and Finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and maintain funding and liquidity forecasts, identify gaps, concentration risks and recommend actions to optimise funding mix, tenor and currency.
• Coordinate monthly funding and BA 610 liquidity risk reporting, including commentary on movements, emerging risks and management actions.
• Lead the end‑to‑end ALCO process: agenda planning, pack production, quality review, executive commentary and action‑tracking.
• Manage the annual ILAAP process, liquidity stress testing, recovery and resolution planning, and ensure alignment with strategic and financial plans.
• Maintain a robust control environment, reconcile key reports, conduct periodic control assessments and drive automation improvements.

Required profile

• At least seven years of banking experience with exposure to balance sheet management, funding, liquidity, ALM or Treasury finance.
• Experience preparing senior‑management, ALCO, board or regulatory submissions and managing cross‑functional deliverables.
• People‑management or team‑leadership experience is preferred.
