Manufacturing Team Member – Cook

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Manufacturing Team Member who will work as a Cook in our food production facility. You will help turn raw ingredients into finished meals while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Translate work orders into processed proteins – cutting, slicing, forming and marinating.
• Follow production plans to create sauces, soups and cooked meats in batch quantities.
• Control and minimise waste, keep accurate production records.
• Operate equipment such as vacuum sealers, food processors, stick blenders and mincers with minimal supervision.
• Maintain proper cooling times and environments for different products.
• Prepare large‑quantity meals for the staff cafeteria (beef, chicken, vegetables, chapati, ugali) following recipes.
• Ensure workstations are clean, sanitized and compliant with food safety and health & safety regulations.

Required profile

• KCSE/O‑Level certification (or equivalent secondary education).
• At least 1 year of experience in food manufacturing or an FMCG environment.
• Good command of English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions quickly.
