Sales Manager – East Africa (Lauritz Knudsen Portfolio)

About the role

Schneider Electric is looking for an LK Sales Manager to lead the Lauritz Knudsen portfolio across East Africa. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and building strategic relationships with customers, consultants, contractors and channel partners.

Key responsibilities

• Own sales targets and business growth objectives for the LK portfolio in the region.
• Develop and execute territory and account plans to meet annual revenue and profitability goals.
• Identify new opportunities in data centres, commercial buildings, industrial facilities, utilities, infrastructure and manufacturing.
• Build and maintain relationships with end‑users, EPC contractors, electrical contractors, panel builders and system integrators.
• Drive specification wins and manage project conversion throughout the lifecycle.
• Develop and manage channel partners and retail distribution networks.
• Organise customer seminars, technical workshops, roadshows and industry events.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity and customer requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales, business development or project sales for electrical distribution solutions.
• Strong understanding of the East African market for LV power and final distribution products.
• Proven ability to negotiate, influence and manage accounts across diverse cultures.
