Sales & Marketing Officer

About the role

The Sales & Marketing Officer will drive growth by creating and executing sales and marketing strategies that align with the firm’s objectives. You will engage with a diverse client base, including SMEs, corporates, NGOs and government entities, to expand market presence in Nairobi and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with growth objectives.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold outreach and events.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients across multiple sectors.
• Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations and pitches.
• Coordinate and attend industry events, business forums and professional networking functions.
• Track and analyse sales pipeline, conversion rates and marketing ROI; prepare monthly reports for management.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform strategic positioning.
• Support cross‑selling of services including audit, tax advisory, consultancy and bookkeeping.

Required profile

• Diploma in Marketing, Commerce or a related field from a recognised institution.
• 2–4 years of experience in a sales or marketing role, preferably within professional or financial services.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Familiarity with the Kenyan financial/audit SME landscape and corporate market dynamics.
• Strong interpersonal, networking and relationship‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Kiswahili.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and able to work with minimal supervision.
