Senior Communications & Public Relations Officer

About the role

Powervision Consultancy is looking for an experienced communications professional to lead corporate communication, public relations and digital marketing initiatives in Nairobi. The successful candidate will strengthen brand visibility, expand audience reach and develop communication strategies that support organisational growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement corporate communication, public relations and digital marketing strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
• Plan and execute marketing initiatives targeting local, diaspora and international audiences.
• Manage social media platforms, including content creation, scheduling, audience engagement and performance monitoring.
• Oversee website content management and develop blogs, articles, newsletters and other digital content.
• Implement SEO strategies and digital campaigns to increase website traffic and generate leads.
• Coordinate corporate events, exhibitions, webinars and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
• Manage media relations, press releases, corporate branding and stakeholder communications.
• Monitor digital marketing performance and media coverage, preparing regular reports and recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in communications, public relations or digital marketing.
• Proven experience in diaspora marketing and engagement with international audiences.
• Demonstrated experience in social media management and digital campaign execution.
• Experience in corporate branding, media relations and content development; a strong portfolio is an added advantage.
