Senior Corporate Accountant (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join a global financial services leader on a full‑time remote basis. The role is responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving the month‑end and year‑end close processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end close activities, including reconciliations, adjustments, and journal entries.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and oversee related filings.
• Analyze financial results to spot trends, variances, and cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Partner with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning teams across the organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• CPA designation or active CPA candidacy preferred.
• At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a senior capacity.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience supporting financial audits.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel abilities, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
