Senior Sales Manager – Kenya Market Expansion

About the role

As the Senior Sales Manager you will be the pioneering commercial and operational engine behind Cellulant’s expansion in Kenya, reporting to the Country Manager/SVP. The role requires an entrepreneurial, build‑from‑scratch mindset to accelerate market growth and strengthen commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute market entry and growth strategy for Cellulant’s proxy business across Kenya.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, high‑growth sectors and untapped customer segments.
• Lead commercial negotiations, contract pricing and service level agreements to protect profitability.
• Build and maintain high‑value relationships with enterprise clients, strategic partners and local stakeholders.
• Oversee daily local operations to ensure seamless delivery of services and resolve operational bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with regional leadership and global headquarters on compliance, backend systems and financial reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, IT or related field.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in business development, B2B sales or market expansion.
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth and scaling a product or service in a new market.
• Deep, native understanding of the Kenyan corporate ecosystem, business etiquette and regulatory landscape.
• Entrepreneurial “build‑from‑scratch” mindset with resilience in a fast‑growing environment.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to engage executive‑level decision‑makers.
• Highly self‑motivated, independent worker with excellent data analysis and presentation skills.
