Showroom Sales Executive

About the role

The Partnership Agency is recruiting a Showroom Sales Executive for its client, a growing interior solutions and fit-out company specialising in custom joinery, workshop fabrication and end-to-end project execution. The role converts showroom visits and inquiries into sales, supports business cash flow and combines sales execution with basic design consultation. It suits a proactive person comfortable handling both sales and basic operational support.

Key responsibilities

• Attend walk-in clients, understand their needs and recommend suitable interior solutions, then follow up on leads and quotations
• Conduct basic design consultations, advise on layouts, materials, finishes and colours, and help clients visualise outcomes with samples or simple sketches
• Maintain strong product knowledge and explain features, benefits, pricing and timelines
• Capture and record inquiries, build relationships for repeat business and referrals, and support the Sales & Marketing Lead in growing the client base
• Keep the showroom clean and well displayed, track sample stock and report on daily leads, inquiries and sales conversions
• Work with the Sales & Marketing Lead and technical teams, assist with quotations and proposals, and escalate complex design requests to senior designers
• Support showroom promotions, campaigns and events, and provide regular updates on showroom performance

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field (preferred); alternatively a Diploma in Sales/Marketing with proven interior or furniture sales experience
• 1-2 years' experience in a customer-facing or sales role
• Proven sales and customer service skills

Required skills

• Basic understanding of interior materials, finishes and space planning
• Basic computer skills (MS Office); AutoCAD, SketchUp or similar design tools are an added advantage
• Ability to listen to client needs, present solutions confidently and balance client preferences with budget constraints
