SME Lead Generator – Sales & Customer Service

About the role

The SME Lead Generator will drive sales of Absa Bank’s SME products while delivering high‑quality customer service. Working across various locations, you will generate and convert leads, support account opening, and ensure compliance with banking regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and meet customer needs by selling SME products and cross‑selling other Absa services.
• Generate quality leads, follow up diligently, and convert them into sales.
• Participate in product campaigns, explain parameters to customers, and achieve campaign targets.
• Maintain sales performance statistics for management reporting.
• Handle account opening documentation, perform financial analysis, and communicate decisions to customers.
• Respond to customer queries and complaints, escalating when necessary.
• Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
