Sustainability Officer

About the role

The Sustainability Officer will lead and coordinate the implementation of KDC’s Sustainability and Green Financing Strategies, supporting the corporation’s commitment to socio‑economic development through responsible financing.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation and tracking of activities under the KDC Sustainability and Green Financing Strategies.
• Prepare sustainability performance reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and the Board.
• Support data collection, verification and reporting in line with GRI Standards and IFRS S1/S2.
• Assist with climate‑risk assessments, portfolio carbon‑footprint tracking and ESG data management.
• Conduct environmental and social due diligence, review ESIA reports and monitor Environmental and Social Action Plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Development Studies, Finance, Economics, Business or related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in sustainability reporting, ESG, environmental management, climate finance or development finance.
• Knowledge of ESG frameworks, green finance and sustainability reporting standards.

Required skills

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
