Van Salesman – FMCG (Full‑time)

About the role

The Van Salesman (VSM) will represent our FMCG portfolio across Nairobi and surrounding regions, delivering products directly to retail outlets while driving sales growth. You will combine field sales, customer service and logistics to ensure our brands reach the market efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets for FMCG products.
• Identify, recruit and onboard new retail outlets to expand market coverage.
• Promote new product launches and promotional offers to customers.
• Deliver orders accurately along assigned routes, obtain proof of delivery and handle returns.
• Maintain optimal product presentation and merchandising at customer sites.
• Monitor stock levels, recommend replenishment and collect payments according to credit policies.
• Keep the sales vehicle clean, road‑worthy and report any maintenance needs.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly sales, delivery and collection reports.
• Provide market feedback and monitor competitor activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or Certificate in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Van Salesman selling FMCG products.
• Previous experience with an FMCG distribution company.
• Valid Kenyan driving licence with a clean driving record.
